Experienced physicians committed to thoughtful, relationship-centered care and long-term partnership
At Andersonville Internal Medicine, our physicians share a common philosophy: medicine works best when it’s personal, collaborative, and grounded in trust. Each brings decades of clinical experience, academic training, and a deep commitment to caring for patients as whole people. Together, they practice across our locations, ensuring continuity, accessibility, and the same high level of care for every patient.
Chris Konstantelos, MD
Physician AND FOUNDER
Prior to launching Andersonville Internal Medicine, Dr. Konstantelos spent over two decades as a dedicated Internal Medicine physician at Northwestern University Medical School. During that time, he developed deep expertise in HIV treatment and prevention, obesity and lifestyle management, men’s health, LGBTQ+ health, and cardiovascular care.
Driven by a desire to provide more personal, accessible, and empowering healthcare, Dr. Konstantelos founded Andersonville Internal Medicine in 2024. His vision for the practice is rooted in partnership, where patients are informed, engaged, and supported as active participants in their health and wellness. He values AIM’s relationship-centered philosophy and believes meaningful care begins with time, trust, and continuity.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Konstantelos is an avid runner, cyclist, and gardener. He is also a pianist and singer, often performing alongside his husband in the Andersonville community, a neighborhood they’ve proudly called home since 2004.

Lorrie Elliott, MD, FACP
Physician
Dr. Elliott graduated from the University of Michigan with High Honors and Distinction before attending Rush University Medical School, where she was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha and received the Glasgow Award of the American Medical Women’s Association as the top graduating female student. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Chicago and won the American College of Physicians National Clinical Vignette competition as a resident. She completed one year of a cardiology fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center, but preferred the breadth and diagnostic challenges of general internal medicine.
Dr. Elliott joined the faculty of the University of Chicago where she maintained a busy clinical practice, was a teaching attending and faculty advisor for medical students and internal medicine residents, and founded and directed several elective courses. She also spent a month as visiting faculty in Eldoret, Kenya.
She subsequently moved to Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine where, as an Associate Professor of Medicine, she helped develop the Northwestern Executive Health program. As Medical Director, she provided clinical and administrative leadership of the executive health and concierge medicine program. Dr. Elliott is board-certified and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Elliott believes that both doctors and patients want a long-term medical relationship where patients have ready access to their physician and the time to discuss their concerns. A trusted partnership is essential in helping patients achieve their health goals, focus on prevention, and keep up to date on the latest developments in health and wellness. Dr. Elliott practices evidence-based medicine and enjoys discussing the research behind recommendations in order to help patients make choices about their health that are aligned with their desires and beliefs. Her patients describe her as “attentive, caring, thorough, and knowledgeable".
She lives in Wicker Park with her husband Marcus and has two children in college. Outside of medicine, she loves cooking, gardening, biking, traveling, and exchanging book recommendations with her patients.
