Meet Dr. Chris Konstantelos

Dr. Christopher Konstantelos has been a dedicated Internal Medicine physician for Northwestern University Medical School for an impressive 21 years. During his tenure, he has developed a specialization in various areas such as HIV treatment and prevention, obesity/lifestyle, men’s health, prostate health, sexual health, cholesterol management, high blood pressure, and cardiovascular disease.
Graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in psychology. Chris cultivated a clinical interest in HIV during his time in San Francisco in the mid-1990s. Since 2003, he has been an integral part of the Northwestern Medicine community, offering compassionate care to his patients and educating the next generation of physicians.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Konstantelos leads a life filled with diverse interests. He is an avid runner, cyclist, and gardener. In addition, he enjoys showcasing his musical talents by playing the piano and singing, often performing alongside his husband in the vibrant Andersonville neighborhood, a tradition they have maintained since 2004. Dr. Konstantelos's passion for medicine and commitment to his community shines through in both his professional and personal pursuits.
